I'm like everyone else, but only from the top

I'll start with the fact that I've been on this site for a long time, but this is my first confession. I have no one to tell you how I feel, so I'll open up here.I'm 15 years old from a small village, I know for sure I have high IQ, high self-esteem and depression. I have a wonderful family, but we often argue, once less and once harder. After stronger arguments I often have suicidal thoughts, but the only thing that saves me in such situations is my wonderful younger sister, her smile always cheers me up. Recently my younger brother told me that he would like me never to be born, in response I threw a bag of things into the pool, I am very happy that I missed him. I'm ashamed of my depression, I pretend to be a funny and cool person every day but I feel empty inside. I'm afraid what my parents would say if they found out, I don't want them to look at me strangely. I finally had to tell somebody

You don't even know how many people can bid on IQ with you. You're depressed by this artificially inflated ego. Get down on the ground and end this myth of uniqueness in your head, it will improve immediately. Build... develop a commentary on your own self-esteem not on the basis of thinking 'ha, I am better than person X', but rather 'I am a good person, I am capable and helpful, I am a value in myself and therefore I do not need to compare myself' . Age does not help either. Besides, depression is not a shame, tell your parents. And get involved in something constructive, some form of help for other people - like support groups for other depressed teenagers or help in a shelter.

Depression is not something you can sweep under the carpet and pretend it doesn't exist. If you suspect you're depressed yourself, you have to go to a psychologist who will confirm it. Talk to your parents, because if you... ...they should support you and help you get out of these problems.

Honestly? You can hide your depression, I was hiding it for about 5 years, when I went to college it was better and I slowly forgot. You can hide it, with a forced smile and a fake laughter, then nobody will even think that you're paying... spread the commentary after the nights, because you can't stand it mentally, let alone that you are depressed.
